Like a musician, Gordon must ensure every individual flavor note finds its perfect place in each expertly harmonized finished whisky he creates. To craft this special edition, Gordon used only American Oak ex-bourbon casks from 1999. The resulting whisky is layered with notes of creamy vanilla, fresh pineapple and sweet citrus balanced by Highland Park’s characteristic smokiness.
