Description: A nice, drinkable whisky but the bitterness in the aftertaste / finish prevents me from giving it a higher mark. It smells younger – feisty, malty – than it tastes. Initially the red fruit and malty flavours and then continuing with a caol ila-ish salty / peaty development till the finish – ending with a bitter note.
