Description: Independent bottling of Fettercairn single malt, aged in a single refill hogshead for 14 years, 317 bottles were produced. Nose: Cereals at the fore, with grassy barley and light citrus. A sneaky hint of nougat brings sweetness. Palate: Earthy spices and buttered scones (with a generous helping of sultanas and cherries in the dough). Finish: Oily malt and crushed walnut.
