Description: BenRiach Septendecim continues the trend of using Latin names for our heavily peated expressions. It is distilled from heavily peated barley enabling us to capture the defining taste and aroma of peat. Aged in a mix of traditional hogshead casks made from the staves of used bourbon and Oloroso casks that both marry the flavour of peat to ripe fruits and sweet honey. Bottled at 92º proof and of natural colour, this is a real heavyweight.
